Miniboone is on the move. Their debut EP Big Changes dropped in January and the band now has eight New York shows booked between now and the end of June, starting this Saturday at Brooklyn Bowl. With their sha na na vocals, hand claps, and overall exuberance, the boys seem dedicated to making feel good, sing-along music. And they know it. Summer Jam is exactly that. Devil in Your Eyes declares with glee: “We celebrate the joy of life...Everybody has to die.” And the video for Cool Kids Cut Out of the Heart Itself is an ode to those perpetual facial accessories: glasses, beards, and mustaches.
